Hickory, NC – We invite high school students to join us March 11-12, 2014 for the Pangea Model UN Conference at Lenoir Rhyne University, Hickory, North Carolina.
MUN participants take on roles as diplomats from UN Member Countries to debate current issues on the organizations agenda. As ambassadors, student delegates make speeches, prepare draft resolutions, negotiate with allies and adversaries to resolve conflicts, and navigate conference rules of procedure.
PANGEAMUN is organized by a volunteer secretariat composed of undergraduate students from LRU and CVCC working under the guidance of experienced MUN faculty from area high schools in partnership with Boy Scouts International and the Hickory International Council.
